AFGHANISTAN IS NOT SO FAR AWAY
A few weeks ago, the Taliban banned university education for female students in Afghanistan after an earlier ban on secondary education for girls. This ban is coming in the wake of repeated calls for the universal right to quality education and the race toward achieving sustainable development through our collective goal of quality education for all.
This petition is a way for you to join the rest of the world in condemning this act of injustice by the Taliban. We hope that by doing so, we can restore the dignity of the over twenty million females who live in Afghanistan, whose basic rights are being stripped away layer by layer.

UNIVERSAL EDUCATION INCLUDES EDUCATION FOR GIRLS
The right to quality education is a fundamental right that no one should be excluded from.
